So many people here keep on reminding me about disgusting Buffy comics. Some even write that they are canon, because Joss has his hand in them.
I used to read the comics, but the idiocy of them turned me completely against them. Everyone is so OOC there, it can't be canon. It's a fanfic authorized by Joss. Canon is forever only the television series. The film with Kristy Swanson and numerous books don't count as canon either. As I said, I (and many others) do not consider them canon, because the characters there do not behave the way Buffy & Co would behave after "Chosen". It's like they all had a lobotomy and went back to the level of season 2, completely ignoring the development of the later seasons. Secondly - space ships, alien bugs, centaurodawn? It's just SO not Buffyverse. It's not canon, because it does not feel like a continuation of the series. It's a fanfic by Joss. Some bizzarre alternative universe. I'd like to quote ~riggin:
"The comics are ridiculous to the point that I really believe Joss is mocking his fans."
I do not read comics (because for me it would be a waste of time), but I get updates and summaries from people who do. So I know what's going on there. The comics are filthy! *spits like Ilona from "The Girl In Question"* And we shall speak of them no more.
